The septuagenarian, who is an advertiser of Yoruba culture through his films, took to his web based life to declare his most recent creation.
"Music, Move, Parody, Enchantment, and Dramatization – a sign of the brilliant time of the Yoruba Voyaging Theater. This most recent adjustment of Palmwine Drinkard takes you on an arresting, engaging excursion even to the town of the dead!" he composed.
The 'Palmwine Drinkard' story is an exemplary mission story wherein the saint, a lethargic kid who likes to go through his days drinking palm wine, gains shrewdness, goes up against death, and conquers numerous dangers over the span of his excursion.
Coordinated by Tunde Awosanmi and created by Tunde Kelani, 'Palwine Drinkard' highlights Segun Adefila and arranged by Dayo Liadi. Kelani once uncovered in a meeting that his persuasions originate from wherever on the planet where culture is being praised.
"I am an uncommon case," he said. "I have positively been affected by films from all over the place – Hollywood, Finish, German, Russian, French, English, China, Indian, African however none of them encountered the Yoruba Voyaging Theater, particularly in its brilliant years. Hints of this can be found in my film. I am most affected by my social experience."
Known for his voracious want for information, Kelani worked together with Bola Bello to shoot a film titled, 'Yoruba Without Outskirt' with a cell phone.
The film was screened at the iREP Global Narrative Film Celebration a year ago. The cinematographer has created evergreen motion pictures, for example, Saworo Ide, Agogo Eewo, Oleku, and Ti Oluwa Nile among others.
