The Adamawa State Commissioner of Works and Energy Development, Alhaji Adamu Atiku Abubakar, has expressed satisfaction with the quality of work on the ongoing road rehabilitation and construction in the state capital.
He stated this during a routine inspection visit to the site of the projects in Yola.
Speaking at Dougirei link road, the commissioner said the road is one of the new projects by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the time frame for the completion of the road is two months in view of its nature.
He reaffirmed the readiness of the present administration towards providing insfrasturactural development to the people.
Alhaji Adamu Atiku noted with delight that some projects inherited from the previous administration have since been completed.
While in Jambutu road, Alhaji Adamu Atiku expressed satisfaction with the level of the work but urged the firm handling the project to speed up the work.
The Commissioner was also at Mustapha Ismail road, a project inherited from the previous administration where he said the significance of the road prompted Governor Fintiri’s administration to complete the project considering that the road has seven link roads.
The project Manager of Triacta Nigeria limited, the firm handling the projects, Engineer Habib Jrad, said the project was awarded to the firm two years ago by the previous administration and currently they laid three links of the roads.
Engineer Jrad added that Mustapha Ismail network road has 3.3 kilometers and assured that works on other link streets of the road will be completed in days ahead.
The Commissioner was accompanied during the inspection visit by the Commissioner, Special Duties, Aloysius Babadoake and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Engr Sulaiman Muhammad.
