Mbula Chiefdom Prince Fenny Fwa was at Borrong market to monitor the compliance of the state COVID-19 Guidelines

Yesterday being 5th May, 2020, the Overseer of Mbula Chiefdom, Prince Fenny Fwa was at Borrong market to monitor the compliance of the directives ordered by the committee of the joint task force that was constituted by the Overseer for the purpose of checkmating the spread of Coronavirus in Borrong market.

After monitoring the activities of the traders and the movement of the motorists/bicycles to ensure that the market is congestion free, the Overseer proceeded to each of the entrance routes where men of the task force were posted to.

According to Prince Fwa, he observed that it was highly difficult for the traders and motorists to comply with the rules and guidelines given to them, but people must be tolerant and law abiding when a trying situation like this occurs.

As initially being agreed by the committee, the task force is to make sure that any trader coming into the market must be a familiar person known as to the corps or must show any form of identity. Anyone found to be guilty of these guidelines, would therefore attract drastic measures.
Prince Fwa reiterated that one of the reasons of checking the traders with their identification documents is to stop traders from neighboring states since interstate movement has been banned by the federal government
