Did You Recieve FG's Disbursed N339.4M Meant for 16, 971 Households in Adamawa

The Federal Government says it has started the payment of N339.42 million to 16, 971 meriting family units in Adamawa, as a component of palliative to pad the impacts of the lockdown.

Mr Abdullahi Zakari, an authority of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT)) program, made the revelation at the introduction of the payment practice on Monday in Damare town, Girei Local Government Area of the state.

Zakari said the mediation was intended to carry aid to the less special during the lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The Federal Government has reserved N339.42 million to be dispensed to 16, 971 less advantaged family units in the state.

"The intercession is under the NSIP)">National Social Investment Program ( NSIP)) started by President Muhammadu Buhari as a feature of his crusade vows to lessen neediness, " Zakari said.

Likewise speaking, Mary Yuwadi, Adamawa State Focal Person of the NSIP, said every one of the recipients would get N20, 000 for four months time span among January and April.

"The presidential intercession will go far to help the less advantaged particularly right now.

"The recipients are deliberately chosen from 12 neighborhood government zones of the state, " Yuwadi said.

She said the Federal Government had likewise endorsed extra 7, 000 recipients in the state, including that: "they will begin accepting the motivator soon".

Yuwadi recorded Numan; Lamurde, Shelleng, Girei, Song, Gombi, Hong, Michika, Madagali, Mubi North, Maiha and Toungo as taking an interest neighborhood government committees.

On his part, Basheer Ahmed, Secretary to the Adamawa State Government (SSG), commended the Federal Government for the signal, including it would go far to improve the social and financial prosperity of the individuals.

One of the recipients, Mrs Amina Bapatel, expressed gratitude toward the president for relating to them.
